Happy New Year (or Merry Christmas since Tim can’t keep it straight)! Instead of looking forward to 2019, we’re looking back at “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse!” This animated Marvel movie came in a little under the radar but completely blew most geeks, including us, away. There are spoilers a-plenty so if you haven’t seen the movie yet, wait on the episode.
Pedantic librarian: Chris Pine is the voice of the dead Spider-Man, which means that Marvel has now gotten every blonde guy named Chris to play a superhero.
Also increased pedantic comment from the librarian: The Marvel Comic book universe is 616… the Disney-owned Marvel universe is Earth-199999. The universe in which we exist is Earth 1218.
