Episode 26 – Twenty Thirteen

Happy New Year!  Welcome to an exciting new year of Geeks Without God and – you know – other stuff.  This episode marks our six month aniverssary and we take some time to look back at 2012 and talk about some things we are looking forward to in 2013.  Molly celebrates the end of the “Year of Molly” by issuing an edict on how we are to refer to the upcoming year (hint: it is not “the Year of Nick”).  We hardly talk about atheism at all. Sorry about that.  We promise we’ll talk about the lack of god next time!

Show notes below the fold:

Tim talks about Chronicle and Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation.  He wrote blog entries on both and you can read them by clicking on the links!

A little more information about the National Park Service Junior Ranger Program.

If you want to know more about Seven Psychopaths, check out the IMDB page.

You want to go to the Fearless Launch Party!  Here’s the link to more information!  We’ll be interviewing Aric McKeown from The Mustache Rangers!

Finally, you can watch videos of Nick and Molly playing PowerPoint Karaoke here!

  1. Re: National Park Junior Ranger program. I got so many patches for those as a kid! You should make sure to check out the state park systems as you travel. Some of them offer similar programs, I distinctly remember Wisconsin having a Mushroom themed workbook for a few years, and I feel like there was maybe a bat thing in Montana? The main downside to State parks is that they are (obvs.) not linked nationally, so you have to buy a window sticker in each state, but some of the state parks are really cool.

    • Agreed. Most State park systems are fantastic. I tend to be focused on the National Park program just because I’m a geek about them.
