66383155_468941103930568_6153683250259689472_nThis week’s episode was recorded live at CONvergence and please note that the input from the sound board was a little hot so there’s some clipping but believe us, it’s better than the back-up copy we recorded from the house. So anyway, our guest is Laser Malena-Webber from the Doubleclicks and they wanted to talk about the perfect church! So we talk a lot about what the perfect “church” would be for us and in the end, we come to the conclusion that it’s a lot like CONvergence! PS: Jeremy Stomberg is also there and talks occasionally.

  1. Nick is right, Laser is absolutely describing a Unitarian Universalist congregation. Our minister’s (or as my hubby calls them “Head Talky People”) frequently check science fiction and fantasy characters and tropes in their talks. We frequently also have rice during ‘coffee hour’ (we always have a full meal). Etc. etc. Costumes only on special holidays though, natch.
