This week, we are taking a look at the Netflix series “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” based on the Archie (yes Archie) comic of the same name. We are joined by Maren Aalgaard, who is a big fan of the series. We talked about the first ten episodes of the show but not the Holiday special, which dropped on Friday, December 14th. Things you didn’t know when you recorded this: Literally right about the time you published this, Netflix announced that they have greenlit the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina through season 4.
Personal thoughs: I think Nick Scratch is the Dark Lord…literally Nick Scratch is a name that has been used in folklore for Lucifer.
It’s hard to say if her father was bad or good. He seems to have toyed around with her life a lot, BUT we do know that it was on his word that all cannibalism (and thus the sacrifice of young witches) was ceased in the Church of Night.
Personal theory 1: Satan is pissed at what the male leaders of the Church of Night have been doing to the witches, and wants the witches in charge, and is using Sabrina to take the Dark Lord down.
Personal theory 2: Satan wants to make Sabrina his consort (thus why he’s masquerading as Nick Scratch) , and Madame Satana who is his current consort isn’t really aware of this and things are going to Go Down when she realizes.
Question that needs to be answered…. WHAT THE HECK WAS UP WITH DR. CEE’S EYES. Is he a vampire? Demon possessed? Warlock?
