This week we are joined by Sharon Stiteler, who is better known as Birdchick. Sharon has recently released a book called 1001 Secrets Every Birder Should Know, which is endorsed by Molly’s mom. In spite of Sharon’s incredible birding credentials, we actually brought her on the podcast to talk about situations in which she feels compelled to keep her atheism quiet. Apparently the birding community has a lot of Christians and that can make some conversations awkward. We talked about times when you feel it is better to keep your views on god to yourself and the fact that we, as atheists, need to keep such views to ourselves while Christians never need to do so.
