  • Episode 219 – God’s Not Dead 2

Gods-Not-Dead-2-SoundtrackThis week, we gather our three good festival friends Tony Miller, Ronn Bauman, and Byron Miller in one room so the six of us can experience the glory that is God is Not Dead 2!  Glory is not a good word to describe the film.  Torture might be a bit more appropriate. It is not even that the film is horribly insulting to atheists (and Christians), either.  It is also badly written, acted, and researched.  Just pretty much all around awful.  You can listen to us describe the excruciating time we spent with the movie which, we hope, will be more entertaining than the movie itself.  Note: DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE FOR YOURSELF.  We would save you that pain.

After you listen to the podcast, make sure to text this message to all your friends:  God’s not dead but God’s not dead 2 sure as hell tried to kill him.

  • Episode 169 – Pope Francis

130919_FG_PopeFrancisLiberal.jpg.CROP.article568-largeThe Pope was in the US last week and we got together with our friend Byron Miller to talk about the religious leader even atheists seem to love.  Francis may not be a bad guy but is he as liberal as he seems?  In our conversation about the pope, we talk about visits both Byron and Tim took to the Vatican and the amount of control the Pope has over the decisions of the Catholic Church.  Byron also gets a chance to answer our new five questions!

  • Episode 113 – Someone is Wrong on the Internet

afThis week we recorded our episode on site at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival with Byron Miller, proprietor of Broomhilde, where you can get handmade brooms, walking sticks, and wands.  We talked with Byron about getting into arguments on the internet.  Specifically, we talked about what we will argue about and what arguments we choose to avoid.  When Byron got a crack at our five questions, we were able to talk about Guardians of the Galaxy again!
