brainThis week’s episode features guest Matthew Kessen.  Matt is a monster expert so naturally, he came on the podcast to talk about evolutionary psychology and how that ties into the possible benefits of religion.  We spend the podcast mostly listening to Matt talk about all the reasons humans are kind of wired to believe in god.  Belief in god and the development of religion may have been unavoidable offshoots of the evolution of our brain.  Or not.  What the hell do we know?  As you will hear, we clearly don’t know as much as Matt.
