Most folks felt 2016 was a shit show of a year. We pretty much agree. For our first episode of 2017, we take a look back at the horror of 2016 and, yes, we finally talk about the election for a little while. Not long. It is likely we’ll have a great many more opportunities to talk about the it-would-be-a-bad-sitcom-if-it-wasn’t-actually-real Trump administration. We look at movies, dead celebrities, and more. We even talk about Debbie Reynolds as being alive even though the news of her death was breaking while we recorded the episode!

Great episode mostly. But regarding that Snopes coverage of Stein: sorry, but that’s how neutral coverage works. The question was if she was anti-vax, and they showed that she wasn’t, or at least hadn’t been proven to be. Yes, technically. Technically is their job. It’s not their job to interpret what she said as “not with us therefore against us”.
Also, I think the joke about the 3rd one sucking was referring to The Last Stand. But yeah, Apocalypse wasn’t great; I actually think The Last Stand was better, and not even that bad.
